About
I’m Mary Thoma (rhymes with Roma)—a creativity guide, writer, actor, director, and spiritual companion dedicated to helping you reconnect with your true, creative and spiritual self. Through creativity, contemplation, and the healing power of your life story, I guide you toward a journey of inner clarity, wholeness, and transformation with my offerings.
My journey began with a passion for the arts—acting, directing, and filmmaking—and has since evolved into a path where creativity meets spiritual growth. I’ve spent years exploring the arts, and even writing and directing an award-winning short film based on my own life. Now, as a certified Veriditas labyrinth facilitator and graduate of Richard Rohr’s Living School, I blend contemplative practices with creative expression in my work as a creativity coach and spiritual companion where I guide others on their own path to healing and self-discovery.
I’m here to help you uncover your unique gifts, move beyond creative blocks with trauma-informed techniques, and embrace creative-spiritual practices that reconnect you with your true self. Together, we’ll bring your truth to life in full color, rediscovering joy, wholeness, and a sense of purpose you can share with the world.
When I’m not hosting writing circles, leading labyrinth walks, or supporting others in finding their creative rhythm, you can find me dancing around my home, crafting whimsical collages, or hiking in the mountains (hugging Ponderosa pines for their vanilla-scented bark!). I live in Colorado with my wonderful husband and our two daughters, where we’re always finding new ways to celebrate life’s little wonders. If you feel called to explore your own creative spark, I’d love to join you on this adventure.

FAQs
What led you to creativity coaching and spiritual companionship?
My roots are in acting, directing, and writing, which have always felt like a way to express and explore my soul. As I grew, I found that these creative practices could also help others discover their deeper selves. This led me to become a creativity guide and spiritual companion, blending exploratory creative methods with contemplative practices to help others find peace, purpose, and a closer connection with the Divine.
What’s a labyrinth facilitator?
As a certified Veriditas labyrinth facilitator, I guide people in meditative, mindful walks through labyrinths—ancient, sacred paths that represent our own life journeys. Walking a labyrinth can be an incredible way to slow down, reflect, and listen for that “still small voice” within.
How do you recharge creatively?
A quiet hike in the Colorado mountains, spontaneous dance breaks, exploring new places and ideas, taking my inner artist out on a date, or enjoying a heartfelt conversation by a babbling stream. These experiences keep my inspiration alive and flowing.
What’s something you’re really passionate about?
I’m passionate about whole-person health, where mind, body, spirit, and community all connect. I lead women’s recovery retreats and guide others to find meaning and joy, whether through art, contemplation, or just good old soul-deep conversation.
